You can save more than $200 a year on fuel costs by following some simple rules:

* Keep engine tuned.
* Replace air filter regularly.
* Use recommended grade of motor oil and gasoline.
* Keep tires inflated to the recommended pressure.
* Avoid jackrabbit starts or sudden stops.
* Keep it under 60 on the highway.
* Avoid buying gas at highway stations.
* Shut the car off instead of idling.
